Diagnostic X-Ray Imaging
As part of the initial exam, it may be necessary to take images of the spine or extremities to enable us to determine the cause of your pain. X-rays are helpful in determining the alignment, disc height, bone density and the overall health of the vertebrae.
They also help to determine if a patient is suffering from degeneration of the discs or is developing bone spurs. We work with several local imaging facilities who employ board certified medical radiologist to provide our office with a written report ensuring that nothing is overlooked. We also refer for MRI’s and CT Scans to check for herniated disc which can cause sharp, shooting pain that radiated into the shoulders, arms and hands or down the back of the leg. They use hi-frequency, digital machine so your x-rays are safe and produce the highest quality images.
